New crafting: RESIN art

It has been a while since I last posted.  Life in the hospital can be pretty draining.  Good thing, there is that side of me that is "crafty"!   

Now I am into resin!  I love watching those soothing videos of artists pouring resin and mix all those colors to make a painting look like a giant crystal geode!

As a beginner, I started with small ones.  Crafting my 2019 personalized christmas gifts for my colleagues and friends using resin was not at all easy as it looks.

First problem was taking off or avoiding the bubbles.. which I by the way think it looked awesome even if it a sign of imperfection into the resin world.  Second and the hardest problem is drying or curing the resin masterpiece.  

Even after a month, some of them have not completely dried up yet.  Worse, the -ber months are here and it is starting to get colder.

Here are some pieces I have made, just to show you a few.  Some are still in progress or  still in the “experimental" stage.    Hopefully, my friends will like them.
